This Organisation to be named the
International Gloster Breeders Association and its
purpose is to further the interest of the Gloster
fancy throughout the world.
|

2.
|
The Association shall publish
annually its rules, balance sheet and list of
members.
|
|
3.
|
At an Annual General Meeting absent
members can only be elected to office provided
they have intimated their availability.
|
|
4.
|
The secretary shall receive all
subscriptions. Cheques or postal orders are to be
made payable to the International Gloster Breeders
Association. Bank charges incurred by cheques not
honoured are to be paid by the sender.
|
|
5.
|
Membership subscriptions shall be:-
Single - £12.00, Husband & Wife - £24.00,
Partnerships - £24.00
Single Senior Citizens (age 65 years and over) -
£10.00,
Senior Citizens Husband & Wife (age 65 years and
over) - £10.00,
Juniors £5.00 (8 to 16 years)
Junior membership shall be from eight to sixteen.
A juvenile wishing to exhibit at novice status is
obliged to pay the single membership fee £10.00
and the Novice Rule will apply.

All adverts for inclusion in the
Association's Year Books to be sent to the editor
accompanied with full payment. The closing date
for the first issue to be the National Weekend and
for the second issue 2nd. Sunday in May.

|
Birds must be exhibited in their
natural colour and any bird showing artificial
colour will be disqualified.
|
|
9.
|
Show cages to be standard
specification, perches to be level and placed on
the third wire either side of centre.
The top of the cage to have a kidney shaped hole,
drinkers to be black plastic with wire hooks and
the floor covering to be seed.
The interior paint colour to be Dulux Matchmaker,
one litre mixing code:- E40L1Z32,
half litre code:- E20l40 with pastel base. White
undercoat to be used. (Interior paint available by

Cage label to be attached to the left hand side of
the front rail of the cage.

Applications for patronage from
clubs promoting Open Shows or any All Gloster
Shows are to be invited with applications being
made through the patronage & affiliation
secretary. The closing date for these applications
shall be 31st. March. There shall be combined
affiliation & patronage fee of £3.

Clubs applying for patronage must
provide the classification as laid down by the
Gloster Fancy Canary Council of a minimum of 25
classes for champion and the same for novice. They
are also obliged to engage a GFCC panel judge(s).

|
The allocation of the Associations
patronage shall take place annually at a meeting
of the committee. The distribution shall be on a
area basis with members of the committee and
officials present voting on the applications
received. The chairman to have the casting vote.

|
To be eligible for the
Association's specials, members are obliged to
have paid their current years membership fee 14
days prior to nominating for an I.G.B.A. patronage
show.
|
|
|

|
17.
|
Members must only exhibit birds
which are their bona fide property. Any member
infringing this rule shall be expelled from the
Association and will forfeit all benefits accruing
there from.
|
|
18.
|
Any member can lodge a complaint at
any of the Association's patronage shows by
depositing a fee of £5 with the patronage
secretary. Only if the complaint is upheld will
the deposit be refunded.
|

19.
|
The Novice Rule.
A fancier is allowed to exhibit in the Novice
Section at any show for a period of up to seven years in total from first joining any Gloster
Specialist Society. After seven years, the member
is obliged to exhibit at champion status. (This
applies also to a juvenile exhibiting in the
novice classes).
Members of the same family residing in the same
house, shall show under the highest status, with
the exception of juniors.
A novice may exhibit in any Gloster classes
without affecting their status if no novice
classes are provided. Entry forms to be marked
'Novice'.

|
A panel judge must be a current
year Gloster breeder and exhibitor at Open Shows
with at least five years as a champion exhibitor.
Applications for the panel to be made at an A.G.M.
and should be supported with a proposer and
seconder. It the application is accepted, the
applicant will be added to the panel at the
following A.G.M. subject to qualification as
Convention rule.
Members applications will be accepted in their
fifth year at champion status.

The Association's panel judges must
be fully paid up members.
|
|
22.
|
A panel judge will not be permitted
to exhibit in the champion section whilst judging
the novice section at the same time.
|
|
23.
|
A panel judge failing to fulfil an
accepted judging engagement without a reasonable
excuse will be removed from the panel.
|
|
24.
|
The Association shall have the
power to suspend or terminate the membership of
any person whose conduct is considered undesirable
or unfancier-like. Such persons shall have notice
of the meeting at which action shall be decided
and fanciers shall have the right to appeal at an
Annual General Meeting.

|
25.
|
Any alteration of the rules must be
in writing and sent to the secretary by the 31st
December for inclusion in the 1st year book, with
the Association set agenda for the Annual General
Meeting. Any matters of any other business arising
on the day shall be discussed but not voted on
until the next years Annual General Meeting.

26.
|
Only a show manager, assistant show
manager and show committee to be elected. The
committee to elect a chairman for each show
committee meeting.
|
|
27.
|
Any matter not provided for in
these rules shall be dealt with at the discretion
of the Association.
|
|
28.
|
The office of Life Vice President
is subject to being a current year member.
